So you’ve chosen your perfect door, are ready to fit it and move on to the next job. Well, not quite. To get the most out of your brand-new door, you must choose suitable finishes such as chrome, satin chrome, stainless steel, etc. There are an awful lot of finishes, especially for door furniture.

Please be careful to choose the correct number and size of door hinges that will complement your chosen door and the surroundings within which it is to be fitted. Some hinges can only be sold as pairs, while others are sold individually to allow you to choose the right amount. Exterior doors and exterior/interior fire doors should have three hinges, while interior doors can have two or three.

As mentioned above, most hinges are sold as singles, as some doors require two hinges and others require three hinges. The very heaviest one-hour fire doors may, in fact, require four hinges to help distribute the weight.

All bathroom locks require a specific type of thumb turn or bathroom handles that incorporate a thumb turn. We have set out compatible products to allow safe browsing, and we will, from time to time, query a customer choice if we think a mistake may have been made; we do this to ensure you get the correct products delivered on time: ordinary tubular latches are not compatible with the individual thumb turns.
